Cunningham, Greg and Rainey Mausolea
Brief DescriptionWaddell Cunningham, Thomas Greg and William Rainey were the established commercial and intellectual leaders of Belfast in the 18th century. All three mausolea are listed and have been described by architectural historian James Stevens Curl as ‘finest… buildings in the genre in Ulster’.
Service

Two of the mausolea have now been conserved and the work has been recognised by both the RICS and Georgian Group in their 2009/2010 awards for conservation.  The conservation of the remaining mausoleum should begin on site in the spring of 2010.

The Practice is providing a full Chartered Building Surveying Service to conserve and adapt this property for contemporary living.  Traditional building conservation techniques using clay, lime and thatch form the basis of the conservation of this delicate building.
