The concept of managing change to historic buildings is increasingly focusing on the identification of significance of the historic and cultural values of the building. The Practice provides Heritage Impact Assessments, Conservation Statements and Conservation Management Plans to help third parties identify the various aspects of historic and cultural significance of a single or group of buildings. The aim is to plot a course for change and the future of the site, looking at problems and opportunities.
The Practice provides advice on the impact of planning applications from third parties and on schemes of refurbishment or alterations where work may have an affect on the historic building or structure. Following the assessment we can work on design and access statements on behalf of owners.
